Seriously, fix the road system from the north to the east, bring on the link between the ring road at Greensie to the Eastern at Bulleen and stop stuffing round.
1 frigging accident this morning stopped traffic. Took me a freaking hour to get from near the Lower Plenty Hotel to the Fitzsimmons rd roundabout. Left home at 7:20 am and got to work at 9:05. No point trying to chuck a uie because the only other way was already choked.
If there's a fire or some other reason why people need to head south or south east in numbers, there'll be carloads of crispy corpses.

Garry Lyon & Billy Brownless. So apparently one or both won't be on the Footy Show again, they've had a huge falling out... Why? Because 'allegedly' Garry's saw an opening after Billy & his wife separated & took it. (pardon the pun )

I've never understood that logic, and never will. Do we have ownership over the people we break up with? Like, we get to put up a "hands off" sign aimed at everybody we know?
If Lola and I broke up tomorrow and one of my best mates and her got together down the track, I don't see how I could do anything but give their relationship my blessing. Anything else would seem churlish and mean-spirited. Who am I to say that two adults can't fall in love?

Check out the thread on big footy. It seems billy didn't see it coming, and it's very recent. So Garry jumping straight in there, when his wife (not sure if current) was also best friends with Billy's ex. Is kind of a slap in the face. There is another rumour that Garry set a mate up with Billy's ex. The two families would holiday together, I can see why you'd be pissed off if you didn't know it was coming, your already heart broken, and wham, your best mate is now rooting her! At least give it a while. But hey, there's plenty of fish in the sea,fish somewhere else!

I would prefer the view that mates don't behave like jealous cavemen if their friend and former flame happen to hit it off. You either deal with it like a mature adult, or, if you can't handle the sight of them together, you may have to go your own way – and that's your problem, really, not theirs.
All very well to say "there's plenty of other fish in the sea", but love doesn't follow social conventions. I think it's hard enough to find love in this world without being bound by stupid rules like "mates' exes are off limits".
