I'm aware that the Japanese do have a perverse sub culture dedicated to porn that would make a German blush but it seems there love affair for toilet habits has spread like a bout of diarrhea on a tiled floor to the wider community.

Kids under 18 in Nevada aren't allowed in to the gym, but at 12 they can shoot a gun?
Yanks still smoke inside everywhere and cigs are about $4 a pack!
Food portions are monstrous and there really is a lot of fat fcukers.

The portion sizes are scary shit! And the amount of morbidly obese people on mobility scooters is frightening.

On the smoking though, must depend where you are. 20 years ago on our honeymoon, my hubby still smoked, and he said he felt like a criminal lighting up, because so few people smoked. But we were in a lot of tourist places that trip. The last two trips, I didn't think people smoked any where near as much as they do here. Man I hate walking out the MCG into that fricken awful tobacco cloud!

Bali however, is just terrible, hotel dining is fine, but the amount of people smoking at some of the street side joints, ugh. And walking down the street, awful.

Haha, that sounds awesome. I'd definitely take my kid along to that. Mr. Green

Thanks! (And good thread choice, lol.)

I don't think it'll have much effect. I do find I'm spending a little more time reading now, but there's certainly no requirement that I stop or reduce my general posting.

On the way back from Daylesford to Melbourne Mrs WPT & I stopped at the Malmsbury Bakery. I felt like a pie & my wife had a baguette.

The pie arrived on a plate. The plate had swirls of tomato sauce like a jus from a fancy restaurant with the pie in the centre & a sprig of parsley on top to decorate the plate!!

The thought was nice & the said pie was delicious!!

Lol, yes. And if I re-offend, I have to engage in a session of self-abasement.

Brisbane Lions draw fan backlash with plan to parade real lion around the Gabba

In a move the Brisbane hierarchy believed would be a "fantastic way to attract kids to the game", the club pitched parading a live lion at the Gabba before AFL games.

After members voted to restore the original lion design to the jumper from next season, the club's powerbrokers thought they would go one better and provide supporters the real thing at home games.

A huge social-media response forced Brisbane to clarify its leaked plans on Thursday.

"There has been a fair amount of hysteria today around the idea of having a real lion at our home games next season," Lions chief executive Greg Swann said.

"Let me be clear in saying it is an idea and only that.

"It is one of a number of initiatives we have discussed as part of planning for the 2015 season, and it has found its way into the media.

"Animal welfare would always be the overwhelming priority in any such idea, but let me stress we are only at a conceptual stage at the moment."

Swann insisted the lion would be presented at the Gabba in an enclosure if they went ahead with the bold idea.

The live animal pitch brought back memories of North Melbourne's ill-fated 1979 stunt featuring a startled elephant.

Animal welfare would always be the overwhelming priority ... but let me stress we are only at a conceptual stage at the moment.

Advertising a circus during half-time at Arden Street, the elephant was startled by the crowd and jogged towards the stands, prompting hysterical scenes.

The Lions want to answer the AFL's call for clubs to ramp up their home entertainment but may go back to the drawing board after Thursday's reaction.

"With the lion set to feature prominently as part of our 2015 marketing campaign, and with the old lion returning to the guernsey next season, we simply asked ourselves whether we might be able to add the 'real thing' to a match day experience," Swann said.

"Given the reaction today, we are mindful that people have strong views and we will take that into consideration as we continue to plan for next season."

Apart from a social-media backlash, the RSPCA office in Brisbane claimed they had received many angry complaints in response to the club's idea.

An activist group Generation Alpha told News Corp they would "harass and humiliate" Lions board members at public events if the club went through with their entertainment plans.

"In relation to animal rights we would never do anything to harm a lion - Australia Zoo is one of our partners and a match-day sponsor this year," a Lions spokesman tweeted on Thursday.

Jesus fecking Christ will man never learn? Why should a lion have to go through that trauma? And if he gets upset?

That is just to mind boggling to believe!
