If it wasn't so serious it'd make me laugh......

This ice problem is only getting media coverage/government funding/police resources/extra attention over the last year or 2 - but this shit has been a problem for 15 f***ing years!!!!
Get with it you idiots who run the joint!!!!!!!!!

There has to be a better balance when it comes to people elected into leadership positions in the community. People with actual life experience.
Lifelong politicians need to be outlawed for a start....

Not the brightest cock in the barn

https://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/a/30668767/sydney-roosters-star-mitchell-pearce-caught-in-australia-day-scandal/

Something for everyone: feminists, gay rights, animal activists, and goodness gracious, on invasion day, racist rant!

And the front page of the telegraph picture has the dogs eyes covered with a black privacy patch!

You couldn't make this shit up

While AFL players get in grief for doing coke and sending dick picks, NRL players experiment with water sports and bestiality. Confused

How much work there has been in acute mental health in Emergency department .

Ice, ice & more ice. BTW, did I mention ice. It's not just ice but there's a lot of it.

We are being slammed in the Emergency Department for a number of reasons:

1. The lack of experienced staff & junior staff or staff who do not have sufficient "acute mental health experience"

2. Re-structuring teams meaning that there are no longer CATT staff with the requisite acute experience - so junior staff whether doctors, social workers, therapists, psychologists make poor decisions leaving the Ed as a default position for patients in crisis

3. Not knowing how to deal with people making threats. Generally speaking those who tell you if you don't admit me or do x then i'm going to either hurt myself, kill myself or hurt someone else. Not all but many of the anti socials & borderlines can be discharged with a good plan if you've done your job properly. I rarely if ever admit under these circumstances. Inexperienced staff invariably follow the path of least resistance which reinforces the manipulative behaviours. This frustrates the sh*t out of me.

4. GP's sending people in for an Ax when they can call for a community mental health follow up team - doe crises can be seen the next day - many do not need an ED

& the list goes on

Soooo busy - not enough time for even Nicks these days

Has been like this for a good month or more.

Gees

And people want to decriminalise drugs, shooting dealers on sight might make more sense. What a disgusting way to make a living, peddling misery.

Mum's been cleaning up. The house is sold, she's moving to Melbourne in 4 weeks to live with me (god help me) and in the clean up, she's finding stuff. Including 50 year old baby stuff. Confused

So this weekend, my son went home with an arm load of stuff for his new kid, from when I was a baby. There was a blue beanie I apparently wore as a baby, I told both my son and his GF to make sure the new bub wears it, intelligence could be contagious. Wink

I get a photo on facebook of the grandkid wrapped up in a 50 year old crocheted blanket and I actually went a little "awwww". Confused Embarassed

Ehhh, NO.

Mum gets the back bedroom, right next to the other toilet.

As I said to the son's GF, she's staying with me until one of two things happen:

1, I buy her somewhere of her own to live, or
2. I hang myself from the rafters in the shed

Well if she doesn't like her bedroom, she's welcome to go outside and join him. Wink
