The wedding I went to yesterday, the grooms family changed religion to something that starts with an L and, well, it doesn't sound like much fun! The women were dressed to the nines, no makeup, (no problem there, but it did look odd!) but when the bride walked down the aisle, no music!! And at the reception, there was no music, nothing at all, until we had our entree and mains, and the grooms family left! Then it was on to traditional "W.O.G" (apols, I have no idea what national music this is, but it always gets played) music where everyone joins hands and dances in big snakey circles! I love it, it's great fun! It was still a great night, but if they had stayed, it would have fallen flat!

I'm stumped. We're they any of the following?

• Lutherans
• Lithuanian Orthodox
• Lamish
• Lastafarians
• 'Leventh Day Adventists
• Luddites (no music over the PA, right?)
• League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

I've never been a good drinker! Had a scotch/coke traveller on the way (I wasn't driving) 2 glasses of red, three sweet whites, 2 or three more scotches, and an American honey night cap!

Not well, thank god, (good excuse to stay home!)

I feel like shit, fell asleep mercifully in the last 1/4.

40th tonight, a cocktail party, I'm driving so no drinks, I really don't want to go! I'll only know a bout 4 people there, hubbies work mates, for some reason their wives never go to BBQ s etc! Went to one in Bacchus MarSh last summer, dougie hawkins was there, he is good friends of the host, 3 of the guys showed up sand wives, only one other wife there, and I already know her! Weird! Don't know what to expect!

Then I have my eldest daughters boyfriends 21st tomorrow arvo, in Epping, won't know anyone there except the parents!

I'd like to just go to bed for the rest of the weekend!

I don't understand why you have a problem with that? Should she have called it off?
