This was against a pretty pathetic opposition Dave. Bendigo Gold tried hard but were very ordinary. The standard wasn't high at all so the stats might be a tad inflated...  |
So Gold are Pathetic. So some Local Sides could beat them? |
Gold only have 2 players from last year's Bendigo Bombers. The rest are players from the region and they have about a total of 70 VFL games experience. They are trying to get the community behind them and get more $ into the club. In reality, they a fledgling club like GWS or GC in their first year. It will take them a few years to attract the best talent in the region and the $ to pay them. There is no reason the won't be a strength like North Ballarat in time. |
