How embarrassing, I missed Jolly's tackles.

Anyhow, welcome back Ball!

You missed Jolly's tackle as you are too focused on Balls.

He sets a great example and really lifts the team... We are a threat for the flag with Ball out there and playing more aggressive and attacking footy!

I spent the last quarter and a half of the 2010 preliminary final rocking gently back and forth, convinced that Collingwood could not win the flag if Ball did not play in the GF. In his absence, I have seen little to change that view. Except, perhaps, that now Wellingham has gone and Benny Johnson has aged a little more, there is even less likely to be adequate defensive pressure on the opposition's goal-side of the centre square without him.

Bumpskis. Keep up the great work champ. Week by week you are coming good again. You have been sorely missed in the centre bloke.

He was brilliant against Melbourne and his disposal efficiency was magnificent. He's really demonstrating why we missed him so much last year. It's great that he's back and now fit and firing Smile

He is better when he handballs and looks for the short options - some of his long kicks result in turnovers more often than not.

He is improving each week and has certainly been a huge boost to our mids. If Beams and Young can be back for the run home Pendles, Swan, Ball, Harry, Caff and some of the young guys will make our mids a lot more imposing and a chance to knock off the top teams!

His kicking on Monday was phenomenal, especially hi short left kicks. Some were so good I thought that surely it wasn't him half the time kicking it.

I thought the same thing. He was hitting up targets lace out. Very impressive from Bally.

He will only get better in the second half of the year. It's great to have all these kids coming through but to win the flag we need players like Ball and Didak fit and firing. What on earth was that x St Kilda coach thinking.
