Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but he didn't finish today's session. Walked an incredibly slow lap and then left with what was an already large rehab group. Hopefully nothing serious.

Reported on BF it is some sort of groin injury.

He didn't do much at training today. Spent a good deal of time with a fitness staffer who was gesturing to him about his gait (about his knee lifts etc ) as he was walking laps. So yeah it sounds like a groin injury of some sort.

Dave, in future, I want you to just stay right away from Grundy's Groin ok?

DTM.

Death. To. Men.

No doubt Grundy is an exciting prospect but Witts might yet surprise a few.

Can't leap.

So what neither can Sandilands.

Once the boy becomes a man he'll hurt blokes with his size.

Patience grasshopper.

LOL, Dave, it's just an expression. By you putting up the article saying how well he's going, next thing he's injured. Just superstitious nonsense.

However, just to be sure I suggest you take Rand Corp's advice and stay right away from Solomon's groin. OK? Razz

Grundy's going to be a star of the future. Collingwood poached a bargain. Hine knows he's going to be a superstar. I hope he'll be the best ruckman in the league along with Naitunai most likely.

Pity, he hurt his groin today.

I'd just like to point out that Cox, Sandilands, and Maric are all having absolutlely brilliant pre-seasons.

You were telling us recently about our long history of recruiting dud ruckmen and linked that with Brodie. That is when you mozzed him. http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=69783

And Cotchin and Watson by all accounts. Training the house down, going to the next level, never been fitter.
