1. Ball
2. Hudson
3. Grundy
Taking a view on impact this year alone and more than just on-field impact.

1. Ball - his inclusion frees up Beams and Swan
2. Hudson - finally a quality ruck backup for Jolly
3. Macaffer - missed his forward pressure and tackling in 2012

Actual recruits

1. Hudson - see above
2. Grundy - All Australian u18 ruckman for the past two years. Not expecting him to set the world on fire this year but I look foward to seeing him in Black & White for the next 10 years. A Grundy/Witts combination - noice.
3. Q-stick. A forward target that can actually kick goals. Now that would be something.

Actual New Players:

1: Grundy - Perfect Player we Need. Start as a 2nd Ruckman that can play 1st Ruck this year at times

2: Kennedy - Give us a Didak Player who can give the Side X-Factor

3: C Young - Give us a Run and Carry Player with a Deadly Left Foot. Something we missed last season

1. Luke Ball (the engine in the engine room, our best in-and-under and contested ball player)

2. Clinton Young (good midfielder, maybe his best is not as good as Wellingham's best, but he's more consistent)

3. Brodie Grundy (put Grundy at 3 because I don't expect him to have as much impact in 2013 as Ball and Young will. But over the course of his career? It's an exciting prospect!!)

4. Quinten Lynch: I'm expecting him to pick up where Leigh Brown left off, but he's capable of kicking 60m goals like Anthony used to.

5. Lachie Keefe

1. Ball: if he doesn't win the stoppage often stops a clean takeaway or forces another stoppage. Also will lift our tackle count by 10 percent overnight. Sets the example for our midifielders if they feel a bit lazy.

2. Krakouer: I know he played 4 games but he is our forward line magic.

3. Lynch: led WC in inside 50's last year. Will give us a setup with great flexibility: as a pinch ruck, stop double teaming Clokey, kick goals from marks and crumbing and long kick.

Of the young ones: J.Thomas: just needs to get on the park for 6 to 8 weeks. Grundy: could play most of the games. Elliott: plays really tall, just has to prove he can get in the spots to crumb goals. Needs to be good at the small forward things too.

Ball - see practically ever post above
Caff- we let the opposition run the ball out too easy last year, welcome back some forward defensive pressure (plus he is a strong grab)
Lynch - a key forward who can kick straight (or at least straighter than Dawes), and also bomb them from outside 50.

Pretty excited about this year!

I don't think any of this year's draftees will be a run with injured senior players returning along with the excellent trading/free agents that the club got over the off season.

Ball is critical to our midfield setup. He is a massive inclusion agree with that.

Young becomes a very important player as he really hurts teams with his run and great kicking. I think Heath will find a lot more space with Young in the team also which imo he lacked last year. How many defensive forwards will teams be willing to play?

Keefe steps straight in if he's ready to go. Showed sigsn of being a terrific 1 on 1 defender, safe pair of hands and penetrating kick. Can also go forward
