The umpiring was pathetic last night. One of the worst I've seen in a while. Actually come to think of it, I think this year's umpiring has been extremely poor especially in the majority of our games. E.g. Hawthorn in round 3, Essendon in round 5, Geelong in round 8 and of course last night.
I swear there is a conspiracy that the umpires are always against us. Why is Cloke always penalised for out-muscling opponents and why are holding the ball or push in the back incidents never given to us most of the time when it arises as opposed to the opposition who always receive free kicks for the same type of incident. Check out the quarter time stats against the Crows last night. 5 free kicks to no free kicks in favour of Adelaide. That's absolutely ridiculous. No wonder why the booing of the umpires was justified at the end of the match.
Stevic and McBurney make me sick _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I think it's time to go back to our roots- how would we have handles that at Victoria Park...
There would have been another slow chant going around the ground a few times last night!

Yes, the good ol' bullshit chant.
I think the classic Stevic/McBurney is a wanker chant would have worked as well. |

It's the reason I stopped going to the football since ANZAC Day (the Redi incident). Since then they've pulled back on such crap, so I thought I'd rock up to the football again ... I don't know if I want to go back after that bullsh!t. I was imploring Cloke to lose his nut and give away a 150m penalty to prove his point. The club must act NOW and publicly deride this crap and cop whatever fine comes our way. Heck, every member can pitch in $0.50 to pay it. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Can we take legal action to stop certain umpires officiating a Collingwood game? _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

I've heard us boo the umps off the ground so many times it's almost part of our ritual now. But can anyone else remember game where we've booed as soon as the siren has gone - after we have won the game???
Unbelievable.
Cheats. |
It was so good. We also booed after a goal in the 3rd which was priceless. Only Collingwood supporters could be after a goal and after a win...I LOVE IT!!! TV didn;t capture how awesome it really was. _________________ Est. 2002 |

^ The boo as the maggots were walking off the ground was the second coming Dyso.
As MattyD said, never seen anything like it; siren sounds for a gutsy come from behind win, and all that could be heard was a loud BOOOOOO ringing around the ground. Unbelievable how bad they were. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

KM old son, i assure you it was quite audible during the TV broadcast, and i am so proud of each and every magpie fan at the ground, who let these pathetic cheating low-lifes know about it.
And i bet the maggots walked off and looked at each other in the rooms and said "...duh geez... whatz upsetting them tonight, duh..."

Nah, I reckon - "We got 'em good tonight Stevic-o." "Not good enough McBurney-o, they still won." _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

I'll tell you what the only umpiring that was worse than at the G last night was at Trent Bridge when Broad was given not out after a knick so loud it could be heard around the world. Broad didn't walk and the Aussies had used up their reviews so we had to suck eggs.
I'll tell you what these umpires from third world countries are really susceptible to cheating with all the gambling on the sub-continent. I don't know why Australia and England don't tell the ICC (i.e. Indian Cricket Board) to take a flying leap and that we will provide our own umpires for the Ashes thank you very much!
But back to the footy. I think that all umpires should be forced to declare allegiance with a team and that they are prohibited from umpiring in any game where their team is playing. That would mean of course that Hawthorn and Geelong games would be almost impossible to find umpires for.
But seriously, it is time for neutral umpires in footy. I am heartily sick to death of the way we get rogered week in week out. They hate us, and the feeling is mutual. |

A special mention. When that soft free was paid against Heater for a shepherd and the Cows golaed in the first quarter some twat dobbed me in for calling the umpire a "useless bald bastard" and I was spoken to by 3 security guards. All around me four letter words were being used but some dobber has me in the gun. To the 4 of of you sitting in front of me where I was standing(and have been since the GSS reopened) sit there again you will hear a lot worse. Possibly about taking up seats used by the disabled. And to the redhead security slut on the m11 gate running off every five seconds to report people complaining about that pathetic umpiring go to the gym, lose 8 inches around your arse, smile a bit, stop being precious, use decent make up and go to a nightclub on a friday night and see if you can get laid. I can only think that the lot of the wowsers were related to MCBurney or Stevic. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
