Being from the area where umpire Stevic originates,( West Gippsland).

I would have to say that because he is from the Warragul / Drouin area , he has a long standing inbred love affair with the Hawks.

His effort today to get the Hawks over the line were in my opinion bordering on cheating.

If you get the chance to watch a replay of the 2012 Grand final, look at how many frees he pays to his team.

Swans beat 23 in the big one , no doubt about it.

My neighbour's son is best mates with this guy. Stevic can't stand Fasolo, so watch out when he umpires our games.

I'm pretty sure it was Stevic that awarded the 50m penalty against Fas last week.

It's deplorable that umpires are actually making comments to the general public about teams or players.

It was so obvious - yet nothing will come of it. The Hawks were savaged with tackles with only one incorrect disposal call. Several Swans, without prior opportunity, had the ball pinned in tackles and attempted to handball. This has not been free kicked all year. But in the GF there was a new interpretation "not a genuine attempt" and it was only applied to the Swan. Thank god the hawk were still not good enough. Laughed my head off.

I think Stevic can now officially be handed the silver medal, with Schmidt taking gold. Who gets the bronze?

The guy (Stevic) is clearly incapable of impartial, consistent umpiring and always completely favours one side over another in his decision making. He should never be allowed to umpire another game of AFL, let alone one of our games.
Stevic tried so hard to gift the game to Dawks and they still lost, suck it Stevic and I hope you lost lots of money on the Dawks you corrupt cheat.

PS Sir Alan of Didak Meredith gets bronze but he seems to only reserve his bias for Collingwood, as opposed to Stevic who clearly screws over whomever he can.

Why isn't there an umpire that favours us? Isn't there one umpire who barracked for the pies as a kid, we have millions of supporters apparently. Does the AFL ask every umpire candidate on their application form to state the team they barrack for, answer collingwood and your scrap. Is that how it works?

Stevic is a disgrace and a very poor umpire all round. Not that Gieschen will do anything about it. The whole umpiring Department needs an overhaul. Gieschen, his mate KB to go and the umpires made accountable by an impartial panel. Haha who am I kidding - it will never happen!

The most blatent display of cheating I have ever seen from an umpire, and believe me I have seen the pies on the end of some shockers. Something must be done, just unexceptable. Absolutely disgraceful.
