|
You don't lose by 50pts because of bad umpiring.
The simple fact is we need the following changes to happen for us to beat top 4 sides.
IN: Jolly, Ball, Beams, Krakouer, Keeffe
OUT: Hudson, Russell, Sinclair, Clarke, Frost
I think we need a better small/mid defender other than Clarke/Russell/Johnson (obviously the above suggestion doesn't cover that well). Russell looks way too slow and useless. Clarke gets caught out horribly against good sides.
Positives:
- Cloke, Lynch Toovey, Dwyer, Elliott have been awesome
- Pendles and Swan are going get a lot more freedom when Beams/Ball are back

That's tough on Russell. I didn't see the whole game, but I thought he did OK. Not easy to look good as a defender when you've got Franklin, Rioli and Roughead in your vicinity.

Agree but when we were on top he made every effort to get them back in the game and drive home the advantage.
And just to think that I pay my money to see that corruption.
