3rd degree, it is my pleasure. Now, how about a recall to the 22?
And Jezza, you took my advice! |

Krak and Caff are fine, according to Lukey Mase. No complications, both seem to have passed their first game back with flying (black and white) colours. Caff "stood tall in the final term during a few tense moments".
Ferraro good as well, AS USUAL. Kid really deserves a place on an AFL list. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Bruce, is that you?
But yeah, great game from Jack (S)paine. Absolutely DESTROYED his man in the 3rd term. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Dawes will want to have a biggun' tonight now! I agree, magoos for him next week if he has a poor one. You'd have to stagger the in's though, Dids next week, Krak the following, Caff the week after, obviously if they gain on their touches/form/rehab. Starting to salivate at the prospect! How far off for Roids? |

Just have to remember the 2nd ruck problem when weiging up whether or not to drop Dawes.
Fourtunately, we have a possible candidate for that role in Ceglar, who had a very good game today, particularly up forward. 2 goals.
And the best part? Well, in the words of Luke Mason "he couldn't drop a (mark) today if he tried." _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

I posted in the match thread
Jolly contests all centre bounces and Maxy and Goldy providing the third man up at all around the ground ball ups.
I can't see how that can be any worse than the current Jolly / Dawes combo. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

I agree.
Give Caff and Krak as many games as we can before, say round 22 (Eagles in Perth) or round 23 (Bombers at the G). One in, then the other the next week.
BJ is aiming to back for West Coast. He has said he should (and I emphasis SHOULD) be back next week against Sandy (at Sandy), then round 21 in the magoos as well (Casey at Vic Park), then back for Weagles.
Worst case, he comes back in against Essendon.
The pieces are falling into place... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Nice day at Bendigo today.
The Pies played better than against their last opponents.
Points
Krak played on the forward flank and played for the 4 quarters. Gave his knee a good working over with a few quick turns and being cruched a few times. He got up and kept working. Was rusty in the first half but his ball skills got better as the game went longer.
Caff mainly played in the back half and was ok nothing great.
Paine was interesting kicked 5 but at times was beaten. He should be a lead up forward because he has great marking skills. Needs to get in front of his opponent instead of going to look for the ball overhead. If he develops a tank he will be fantastic.
Ceglar was good and can take a good mark on the lead. He is not ready to play at AFL level and along with Witts I don't believe will be play until 2014.
First time I noticed J thomas who has great hands and skillful kicking.
Woods is not going anywhere fast. At times he did some very good things but mainly had very little impact.
Didak was excellent and needs to come back into the firsts - he is ready!!!!
Clarke got the ball numerous times but wasn't always good one on one.
Overall, a better game but Bendigo played a slow game which suited our style. Against a fast side we would struggle.
PS - Can someone tell me why Rocca is the defensive coach?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

That'd be Tom Hargreaves, 182cm 18yo. |
Thanks for the Info - Could he be a Draft Target for Us? |
Quite possible when you look back at the U18's that have played with us in previous years. eg. Lach Smith 2011, Jamie Elliott 2010, Jon Ceglar 2009.
I'd actually like Collingwood to keep a rookie spot for one VFL player each year, surely we could live without a Farmer/Stubbs type project and leave one spot to promote a VFL player from the previous season. Would love to see Ferrero or Lach Wallace get a spot next year. Plus I think this would be a good selling point to attract better quality VFL players if they know there's a spot up for grabs each year. |

Who should I look for? Or shall you remain anomonous?
