One of those games where we all could have reached for the sharps. But thankfully the right result was locked in. Liked our endeavour, although skills down. Felt like they didnt back down from a contest, and backed each other up until we ran out of steam. Pendles you bloody champ, and Sidey as quick as a flash. These two set the tone for the rest. Have we found the missing mojo? Now we see the influence of one N Buckley.

Very worried about Reid's persistent injuries.

Swan hammy. Reid "nicked a quad" - is that the same quad? How many nicks can a quad get before it's knackered?

The upshot is that Geelong looked shattered.

Actually, thinking about it, to stand up in the last qtr with all three of our real backline talls (Brown, Tarrant and Reid) out injured against that Geelong fwd line was a GREAT achievement. They can be very proud of themselves. I know I am.

One negative - I've tried to like Simon Buckley, but ... his mistakes under pressure in that last quarter were really toe-curling. So nearly cost us the game.

considering we lost Swanny and Reid at the crunch and the soft greed given to the pussies I thought we did well to get the points

when they drew level I shouted out your luck has run out .. and it did

New injuries are a worry after we looked getting back to a full list although with the Crows next week and than a couple of 'easy' games we could turn around on 9-2 ... that would be a pretty good achievement for Bucks in trying circumstances

GO PIES !!!

No Swan, no Reid for next week. And a bit of concern over Pendles' ankle.

Massive downer on the win.

Well, that was like doing butterfly through treacle. People will focus on Geelong's misses, but overall they should never have gotten that close. Other sides would feel emboldened seeing us keep them in the game like that because it did evidence a brittle mindset.

Anyhow, we get the four points but we need to stop imagining we're defending a flag that we're presently a mile off; some trust and team spirit is needed to overcome the second guessing and undisciplined play. If we imagine we can turn things on and off and waste hard-earned ball like that more mentally-hardened outfits will run over us on the big stage.

great effort from the boys and psychologically very important to beat those arrogant pricks, but at what cost Swan (hammy) Reid (quad) Pendles (calf corkie)? Seriously why do we cop injury to key personnel week in week out? Did dids touch the ball in the second half. Tough ask next week, but we've got winning form so you never know. Floreat Pica!

Can we send Didak, Thomas and Dawes back to the VFL untill they find some form?

Great win with only 16 players and given the Cats clearly rested up last week and set themselves up for this game. In the end we try to win both games, take 8 points. They set themselves up for only 1 game and end up with 0 points Very Happy
