no ned for tarrant, might be wet on sat. isn't he injured anyway? thomas is probz "rested" or can't get a game in the vfl.

the side is a young team only exceptin hahn (if he plays) and pendles who are both probably over 26-28

Tarrant was listed as "test" when I last looked at the injury list, likewise Daisy Thomas.

Tarrant would certainly be handy against either Galea, Bonaddio or Burstin.

and You Actually Believe That?

dave taz is a "test" that part is true, and you know that! where as daisy PMSL LMFAO. any person that thinks daisy is injured has bricks in their head

So when is Daisy be Back?

It staggers me that some clubs in the AFL haven't looked at Port Melbourne for draftees. Guys like Valenti, Cain, Burstin, Pleming, Galea.

I am interested in who posters around here think would be worth a look from Port Melbourne in the draft this year...

I always thought Valenti was a good player. He was at Melbourne briefly early in his career and he showed a great deal of promise at the time he was playing for them. That's why I was bemused as to why he was delisted in the first place by them.

Would Collingwood ever consider drafting one of these guys in the near future?

Heh, Melbourne de-list Valenti but keep Watts. How's that going for them so far? Laughing

In all seriousness, though, I like the look of Valenti, good as midfield depth, possibly a small forward. I also like Galea: like Jackson Paine, is a couple of centimetres too small for a true KPF, but like Paine has a good leap on him and great overhead mark. Also kicks plenty of goals, which makes him an upgrade on Dawes.

Port Melbourne have been awesome yet again this season, smashing all comers. If we get within 10 goals it's a great effort.

Oh, FFS!

Luke Mason has informed us on twitter that there won't be any LiveChat of today's proceedings. Which means I, like the rest of you will be in the dark about today's game.

Sorry folks. Will post score updates here when I get them, but I won't be able to give the "call" of the goals, so to speak. Embarassed

Again, my apologies.

No VFL coverage this week - not good, Collingwood FC. Evil or Very Mad

Okay, I've managed to find a guy covering the game for the newspapers on twitter:

http://twitter.com/#!/bplucas8

I'll post when he updates.

So far, Mooney has our 1st goal.

Scores level 6-6, 10 mins in...

Mooney gets his 2nd goal.

Pies lead by 6 points (it's 19-13, I think.)
