Hi Guys

Here is MY opinion to what I would do to stop Collingwoods slump. This may upset some people but it is just my opinion. I would de-list Rowdy and Gav Crosisca as I don't beleive they will play again after this season and are just not good enough to play the modern game. I know that they have both been great for our club and it would be nicer to let them finish out the season but we need new players coming through. I would promote Andrew Dimattina and Leigh Sheehan from the rookies list. We are lacking midfielders who can get in and under packs to get the ball out. We have too many players waiting on the edge of the pack for the ball.From what I have seen Andrew Dimattina is a hard at it player who can get in the packs and get the ball. I would bring in Craig Jacotine from the magoos as he is also an in and under player. I would also bring in Brad O'Borne and leave him at full forward along with Leon Davis in a pocket. I would drop Fraser to the magoos for the rest of the season as he is not strong enough yet to hold down the number one ruck position.I would leave that task to Steve McKee as that is what we bought him for. Brad Smith would come off the bench to give McKee a breather.Anthony Rocca to be a static centre half forward and Chris Tarrant to be a roving type half forward pocket along with Mal Michael. I would leave the back line as is. I would put Paul Williams in the other forward pocket as a crumbing goal kicker with Leon Davis.

Thats about it. Just remeber it is only my opinion. In the famous words of Mike 'The Wanker' Sheehan, what do you guys think?

not too sure about the forward line i would have tarrant, mal and sav up the forward line!!!! Not leon Davis

Lets drop Sav and develop a new forward. The season is almost lost and we need to get something out of it. Buckley has been tagged out of the game for three weeks in a row, but what can we expect, we have been a one man team for years. maybe we should delist a player right here right now to send a message to other players...maybe that should be Saverio- he actually embarassed me. I know many will defend him but we have persisted to long, the man is a professional let him act and play like one. Shame Pies Shame!!!!

I'm hearing ya NT-Pie. I think that it is Sav's last year for sure. We should work on Tuckey and O'Borne as our full forwards.I also think that we need to work on our so called smaller crumbing forwards. How many goals have been kicked by crumbers roving the packs in the forward line this year by the Woods? Not many I expect.

You can't delist Crosisca and Brown to promote rookies.

Crosisca and Brown occupy the two spots on the Veterans List. This list is exclusive from the Club List. If either go, that's it - you can't replace them, (unless you have a Veteran Rookie on hand).

There are others within the Club List, though, who I know won't be there next year and should be delisted now, as I have advocated in my Rant.
