IN: Didak

OUT: Seedsman

Collingwood should only bring in Reid, Thomas or Shaw in if they are 100%
fit. there is no need to risk re-injuring them.

curious as to who you would have playing second ruck?

Anyone, its not like Dawes doesn't get completely pantsed in this role.

Why Paine? I mean, it's great to give him game time, but what has he achieved that Sinclair or Seedsman haven't? I think it's notable that he wasn't even selected as an emergency last week after being dropped. He'll be good one day, but he needs time to develop in the VFL.

I know it's tough dropping a player after one game, but Ugle would probably be the first to go, with Fasolo also due for a spell. My ins and outs would be (depending on fitness):

In: Didak, Shaw, Thomas, Reid
Out: Ugle, Fasolo, Seedsman (unlucky), Buckley (very unlucky)

I'm inclined to drop Dawes so we'd need another big body in the forward line so thats were Paine comes in.
Not sure why you consider Seedsman unlucky, I'm a fan but he was deplorable on ANZAC Day, 4 touches for 3 clangers in 3.5 quarters.

Just on Dawes, he's kicked less goals in 5 games than Jack Anthony has in 3, food for thought....

In Didak and Shaw

Thomas and Reid will not hurt another week

Out Seedsman and Ugle

Sinnner will be the Sub.

Paine is BIG!!! hmm??? He may be 1cm taller than Dawes but Big???Nah.

Dawes is a friggin walking mountain. And Paine is a skinny 18yr old (don't get me wrong I have big dibs on the kid). Even when Dawes was his age he was bigger.

Unless Dawes is in absolutely woeful form (and, as noted above, his role is more than just kicking goals), you'd have to be mad to drop him for an untried 'kid'.

If Paine can contribute as much to the side as Dawes in a couple of years, we will have done well.

Paine will be the FF of the future - but let him learn and grow in the VFL.

Paine will be a far better FF than Dawes - but give the kid time.

Dawes is adapting to his new role and if we can still win - no change.

I would see only 1 change this week:
IN: Didak
OUT: One of the youngsters - Seedsman I would say as Ugle needs more game time and Sinclair will step up at Etihad.

Rest Shaw, Thomas and Reid with Taz getting a run in the magoos.
