I think Frankston will be a better side this year. They've managed to pick up some quality players from various leagues. Their new fullback, Jarrod Irving, is a damn good footballer. He's somewhere between Presti (low possessions) but closing speed and spoiling abilities like Dale Morris or Josh Gibson. Ive seen him in games being caught out by the opposition teams and players but managed to get a fist on the ball.
Keep an eye on him. |

Port, maybe?
Actually, if you look at the results so far this year, Port kind of look a little bit like us from 2011: seniors knocking over all takers, reserves unable to buy a win. A couple of injuries to key players and suddenly they look a little bit vulnerable.
Love the look of Shane Valenti and Dean Galea. Valenti is a class midfielder, and Galea up forward for Port looks to be streets better than Dawes for us. Would be happy to draft them if we could... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |
