Practice Game #2 - Frankston v Collingwood at Frankston Park

12:00pm this Saturday at Kars Street.

Fresh off a 5-point victory over Geelong, the young men of our VFL squad will be looking to consolidate on their good preseason form with a win over the wooden spooners of the last two years, the Frankston Dolphins.

In a rare treat, eager Magpie fans will be aware that this scratch match takes place in the afternoon before the NAB Cup match against old rival Melbourne at Etihad Stadium. The NAB Cup game begins at 7:40pm, which will give Pies fans approximately 5 hours to make the trip from Frankston to the Docklands.

I've heard around the traps that a young fellow by the name of Lachy Wallace has signed with our VFL team. Will he play tomorrow?

^ Yes, Dave, that is the page I got it from.

Interesting to note about his endurance being one of his key weapons. Given that our boys often fell away in 4th quarter of games last year, he would be a good addition to the VFL list, if you can count on him to run out a game.

He's a Collingwood supporter, too.
