Aside from the fact that when im posting, i rarely take the time to use capitol letters or check my spelling, im not really very inclined to be lazy.

So this morning, im about to go in the gym, and realize i havent watered the new plants out the front. Dont want to scare the neighbours in my sports bra, cant be bothered going upstairs for a t-shirt, so i open the laundry shute and pull out the first thing i see, which just happened to be hubbies grotty sweaty wife beater from yesterday!

So naturally, this morning, my nice quiet street, where i rarely see anyone, is a hive of activity! And now i am really wishing i went upstairs for a t-shirt!!

Yesterday, oldest daughter wakes at around 12, has a leisurely brunch. Messes up the kitchen, eats on the floor in the lounge, uses a plate but why? theres not a crumb on it, its all on the floor i just swept. Put her bathers on, Goes to my ridiculously tidy laundry cupboard, doesnt take the top pool towel, takes one from the middle, and messes up my perfectly stacked towels.

has a swim, lays by the pool. comes in for a snack and walks water through to the kitchen. Then sits in the pool, with her ice cold drink and drops chips in the perfectly spotless pool that i vacuumed at 6 in the morning!

But no, Stui tells me i should back off, so i dont say a word.

So, an hour or so later im just finishing up washing the floor, when she walks water through the door and sighs, big big big sigh, huge! "Ugh Mum, do you have a hair tie?"
"yeah sure honey, ill just drop the mop, run upstairs and get you one!" i think not!!

This child once slept with a coat hanger in her bed for 3 days!

I once found a dish of solidified icecream in her desk drawer with the spoon glued in!

One of my sisters used to use paper plates and cups so she didnt have to do dishes! She once gave me a glass of expensive wine, in a plastic glass! not even a wine glass, a tumbler!!

So, come on dish, whats your gulity lazy secret?

Im off to the gym!

Oi, I only suggested to leave her room alone while she was doing exams. If she wants to make her own room like a pig sty, fine, but that doesn't give her a licence to trash the rest of the house.

When she drops food all over the floor, I'd ask her to clean it up. If she gets bent out of shape, sweep up the crumbs and tip them in her bed.

I've never been that tidy, really.

Since I've been with my Girlfriend, I've been a clean freak. Because I spend so much time at hers, I need to treat her place with respect.

Though being tidy and clean is hard work Surprised!

yes but its very satisfying!

i cant operate with clutter around me, its too distracting.

and its not hard work if you keep it that way.

like excercising, its hard to build up to fit, once your there, its a breeze.

OK, my Lazy secret is I'm really slack at taking the empty beer cans to the bin. I'll finish a can, put the empty on the floor beside the chair and get another can. Repeat cycle.

We never clean our room, and barely do enough housework to stop our housemates from getting annoyed at us. We're also both somewhat punctuality-challenged.

Lola leaves half-full coffee cups everywhere, and I tend to stack DVDs and books and clothes wherever I can find a clear space (including the floor). Plates and bowls can sometimes take the scenic route on the way back to the kitchen.

We tend to 'lose' things a lot — by that, I mean that they sit in partially obscured view on the table next to the bed and we spend three weeks talking about trying to look for them.

The only time I make beds is when I change the sheets.

x3 with the bed.

My ultimate act of laziness was hiring my cleaner. Bliss. Even when she breaks things, still better than me dusting/cleaning bathroom/vacuuming/washing floors etc etc etc.

^ I know a few people who clean before the cleaner comes... They are too embarrassed to let them see their house...

Well, the Captain has been in true form today.

I kicked the boy out of bed at 9:30 to help me clean up the shed, while the captain remained ensconced under the doona. Even when we found a massive possum hiding behind an old cupboard we were dragging out and he went inside to tell her (she likes such creatures) the Captain would not be moved.

Around 1:30, the Captain stumbled out of the bed and into the shower. Now refreshed and alert, she bade the boy to drive her to coles to buy some instant noodles for Brunch (despite there being heaps of food in the house).

Armed with sustenance and obviously exhausted from being vertical for more than 5 minutes without an alcoholic drink in her hand, the Captain retired to the couch with the boy to inhale said sustenance while watching downloaded episodes of Fat Pizza, Housos and something else, all the while giggling like a 3 year old.

Must conserve energy for when they go out drinking tonight.

Far Canal, Now that the weather has cooled down a bit I'm going to have to spend more time out away from the house on the golf course or something while I'm on holidays or I'm going to go nuts.
