I must be one of the few people that like brussel sprouts - lightly steamed with a bit of butter. But I eat most vegies anyway.

And I too grew up on vegies boiled to within an inch of their life.

Did go through a period where I couldn't eat tomatoes. Was after a summer school holidays picking tomatoes at a farm near Tatura. Hot and damn hard work to fill a bin. And the smell if happened to grab a rotten one! Even now the smell of tomato plants or the leaves gives me chills.

I like steamed brussel sprouts as they are.

Going old school. Had the left over pork Chili last night and tomorrow for lunch, so just did some sausages tonight in the grill pan, the old girl does the mash and veges, add gravy, that works.

Decided to do up some home made KFC with Coleslaw, potato salad and corn on the cob.

Bought the chicken pieces, got the spice recipe off Google (added some cayenne pepper to the seasoning and some panka breadcrumbs to the flour) and away we go.

Made em up, let em rest, then shallow fried them in the pan for 30 seconds each just to crisp the coating up and put some oil into it, as I'm cooking it in the Air Fryer.

had some leftover mild/egg mix and flour/seasoning mix so I got some chops and sausages and crumbed them for dinner one other night, then mixed the remaining leftover flour mix with the leftover milk/egg mix, grated in 2 spuds and pan fried them. KFC flavoured crispy hash browns.

I got the Aldi one, less than $100. Works good, much easier than heating up the oven and a lot healthier than deep frying stuff.

Chiko rolls come out schmick. Razz Cool

Quick easy, really yum!

Chicken tenderloins, roll in flour, then your favourite sauce (I used bourbon and brown sugar, some with sweet chilli, some with tomato sauce, ) then crumbs, cook in a little coconut oil, fantastic! Even looks impressive!

I'm having cheese and biscuits and red wine.

First week back at work in the acting boss role, I'm brain damaged. If this is supposed to be the quiet time of year, geebus help me when it gets busy.

Youngest made hazelnut (light) choc ice cream - wow yum.

She's making Italian for her boyfriend while Mrs WPT & I take the oldest to the airport tonight for her return flight to Sidanee (was apartment hunting with a friend) then we'll likely go to Victoria Street Richmond for some Vietnamese
