Really is! You don't need butter sugar etc!

Course mine didn't taste as good as when the maestro made it, but not bad! Wink

Had the first of our first home grown broccoli tonight. Steamed. Beautiful, surprisingly sweet.

Got the fambly coming over again tonight it seems, Sunday night ritual up and running.

Got organised today so I can do some jobs this arvo and actually spend time with them when they're here rather than in the kitchen.

Made up a Chicken honey mustard and avocado pasta salad and a thai beef salad.

Everything's done and in the fridge, all I have to do is cook and slice the steak when it's tucker time.

I've been having a homemade potato salad (made with fresh pinkeyes) and salad and various other stuff the last few days. Added some chicken to it the other night and it was nice, some chicken nuggets as well from Hungry Jack's, and some popcorn chicken as well.

It's been a decent meal really.

The chicken one is a favourite and it's piss easy.

Cook a large packet of Penne pasta, rinse under cold water once cooked to stop it sticking

Get a BBQ chook from the supermarket, let it cool. (I get one the day before and whack it in the fridge.)

Pull all the meat off the chook and chop it up, mix it through the pasta.

Mix through a bottle of honey mustard dressing.

Chuck on top some cherry tomatoes halved, some chopped green onions if you feel like it and 1 avocado quartered and cut in slices. Bit of ground black pepper, whack it in the fridge till serving.

Too easy and you can make a meal for 6 people. If you don't like the hone mustard dressing, caesar salad dressing is good too but cut it with a little white wine vinegar.
