What?

C'mon, are you doing bircher muesli or coco pops?

I'd take the coco pops. I loooovvveeee coco pops!

I had cereal too, allbran with dates, and a scotch and Coke! Hubby cooked fish and veggies, didn't feel like it, had an egg though.

When we got back from Adelaide the youngest made steamed dumplings. Pork, spring onion, soy, ginger, vietnamese mint, bean shoots ...all finely diced then a spoon of the mix (with condiments) placed on a piece of cabbage leaf & steamed. Served with a chilli oil mix for dipping. Delicious. Also served with wok tossed greens. Light & tasty.

I had pizza 4 nights running during the last 7 or so days.

You can stick your spring onion up your bok choy as far as I'm concerned.

Hah

What's Today? Wednesday?

Tonight is some bacon wrapped chicken (courtesy of coles) with a side salad (courtesy of mum)

Last night was (I think) microwaved lasagne

Monday, (had to think then), crumbed pork chops with mash and veges

Sunday was beef and vege casserole with pasta.

When i lived by myself I'd cook enough on Sunday that I had lunch and dinner for most of the week.

Only way i could eat Pizza that often would be if I made my own or had a fuckload of leftovers.

I do like Pizza though.

A mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes at Addis Abeba, an Ethiopian restaurant in Footscray. All was served on injera bread without utensils, as is customary in that part of the world. Really great food.

Which hand did you use?

Can you ask for utensils as an option?

^ I didn't ask, but I'm sure they must keep a few spoons out the back for the squeamish. Wink

As for which hand, I like to think I wash them both thoroughly enough for it not to matter! Shocked

Oh, it was a packet of 'Sustain' left in the kitchen by one of the supervisors. Don't tell anybody; I would never buy the stuff and would hate to lose my reputation as Melbourne's #1 Vita Brits aficionado.

I think the idea is that, in that part of the world where it's customary to eat with your hands, you'd get some funny looks if you used your left hand to eat.

The right hand is used for eating, the left is not

Left is fine, perhaps ... so long as it's understood that they use their right hand to wipe! Razz

Marinated some Shark Bay tiger prawns in; olive oil, garlic, worcestershire sauce & Tabasco sauce for a few hours. A few minutes on the BBQ while the beef skewers and Sicilian sausages continued to sizzle.

Delicious!
