Tonight doing the roast lamb.

Got a 3kg lamb leg in the oven with a marinade/paste of Rosemary, Thyme, Olive Oil, Garlic, lemon Juice and salt and pepper. Having that with roast Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes and Celeriac, and some carrot, silverbeet, broccoli, cauliflower and peas in the steamer.

Also made some Polenta, in the back fridge chilling, I'll cut some slices and cook them quickly in the lamb dripping.

Bring the reds.

tonight, Rib eye on the bone (700g) with corn on the cob, peas and boiled spuds. Oh, also my special mushroon/garlic/pepper sauce.

Sauce is fresh mushies, green peppercorns, black peppercorns, garlic, butter, white wine, beef stock and cream.

The eldest was working from home today, 5am to 2pm, giving advice online, so I suggested she cook dinner! I was cleaning the carpets so good excuse. She cooked some weird sounding Korean chicken dish, not bad, but only broccoli for veggies! I forgot she hates veggies! It was a good idea til me and junior started doing the dishes. Seriously, is there a dish or pan she didn't use? Maybe it's a ploy?? Wouldn't put it past her!

So waiting for the warm weather so I can get back into salads. eating cooked veges is boring and sad and something I only do when it's cold.

Dinner tonight got a rolled chicken roast with an apricot and herb stuffing. Chuck some spuds, sweet potato, quartered onions and carrots in the baking dish and some steamed greens to finish it off.

Last night I did salmon, home made mango salsa, a coleslaw salad with extras, zoodles with garlic, sea salt, chilli and sultanas, tonight used up some frozen fish, lamb (not for me yuk) and squid marinated in lemon from our lemon tree and sea salt, yum, with stir fry veggies and pearl cous Cous.
Tomorrow will be chicken in sauce and crumbed, and probably low effort veggies! Cleaning day, don't want to mess the kitchen up too much! That chicken sounds good, home made or bought? If so where from!

Busy week coming up, so I've spent the morning in the kitchen and the laundry! Though not as many loads as WPT! Prepped and juiced 6 days of morning brekky juices from the guy in the movie Fat Sick and nearly Dead! He's starting a Facebook juice challenge Monday. What the heck summer is coming! And he has alternates for lunch too, so I made one hell of a mess, and also curried lentil stew. Apparently it's really good for you. It tastes like it is! And there is bucket loads of it!
