Just to let you all know the interview will take place this wednesday.

But because of the politics involved with the AFL and telstra and more importantly we dont want collingwood compromised or harmed in any way the interview will be placed on the official site, mike will run a link from nicks board to the collingwood official site.

I personally see nothing wrong with this as we are allowed to promote the interview on nicks board and get all people involved with this interview from nicks board and discuss the interview on nicks board after it has been put up on the official site.

The club is very excited for this to go ahead and has no problems with any future interviews with players officials and eddie.

Our next big catch will no doubt be bucks the man himself..i know some people are going to bitch about the above arrangements but its better than nothing.

I contacted mike by phone to get his consent he has no problems whatsoever.

Sounds a bit like the way the Saints do it. Regular live chats, both organised and impromptu, are done on the official saints.com site.
Transcripts are done and posted with unofficial sites able to link to the transcript so nobody misses out.
Anyone from the club - coach, pres, board members and players are likely to lob into chat, mostly in the evenings.
Might be worthwhile running the idea past Eddie as it creates a lot of interest with the fans.
Don't see why it wouldn't be possible to have players etc drop into the chat room on this site.
