3. Cloke (proving the most influential, team-oriented tall forward in the game)
2. Tarrant (simply superb)
3. Ball (this guy IS a leader)

3. Trav. The guy is a monster, what more can you say? Other than I wish he'd stop missing the easy ones!
2. Swanny. Was absolutely everywhere. Came up with the ball time and again just when we needed it.
1. Taz. Great performance down back.

Ah, the days of backs-to-the-wall MLA camaraderie are at an end, I see.
Cloke misses 3 votes for me because of his inaccuracy. Otherwise, it was a dominant performance. Tarrant was very good in defence - and if it seems like I over-value defenders' performances, I'm only reversing the overall trend. Let me know how many backmen figure in the top 10 when the votes are counted at the end of the year - I'm estimating 0. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

3: Cloke
(imperious performance, was the difference between win and loss nuff said)
2: Ball
(cannot say enough about the hard work this guy does and the way he goes about it, putting his body on the line and giving his all, stellar example setter)
1: Pendlebury
(sublime, exquisite performer who also knows how to work hard)
Close but no cigar: Swan, Davis, Tarrant |

Surprised at the lack of love for Reid, I thought he was great last night. Beat his brother convincingly, but affected a ton of other aerial contests that didn't involve his direct opponent.
His closing speed and ability to get a fist in is something to behold _________________ Brown re his GF omission:
