I did go and read all that stuff and had a pretty good laugh i only read it because sometime ago some pretty hurtful and very personal poisoned smutt was said about myself and it was a little concerning..But i take exception to one posting made by a carlton supporter and that is i alledgedly berated some ten year old carlton supporter and this person is planning to notify the club well whoever you are please when you contact the club please leave your name and phone number, you have made this allegation very public and whilst most people will just read it and dismiss it as bullshit others will believe it and some fruit cakes out there might just take actions into there own hands which leaves myself in a very vulnerable position.

Im tired of gutless internet heroes who hide behind a false name and persona and say what they like with little regard to that person..Im a father for godsake and 6 weeks into being a grandad i love kids i get immense satisfaction from all kids and i dont believe anyone has the right to make these very false allegations.

Ring the club thanks with all your details.


Look i know by wearing a gold jacket and wig every week as we slaughter the opposition leaves me open to people having a dig at me and if its all in fun i have no problems..
I may not be the best lookin guy and my intellect at times may seem childlike but football to me is a way of having so much fun with so many people, at the end of the day its just a game and in this game we have collingwood whom i and everyone else on here loves greatly its a way of life for many of us and i wouldnt change it for quids.

But why all the nastiness it doesnt make sense to me its all just fun it is very sad when it gets personal.

Im probably again leaving myself wide open for posting this stuff but sometimes you gotta say whats on your mind and im only responding in regards to that sick person making what i believe to be very hurtful and serious allegations about myself verbally abusing a ten year old girl.

Geez, I'd really like to let this one go, but I don't think I can. Thinly veiled digs at me have never been something I can ignore.

I can only assume that the reference to "moron Collingwood supporters" who post on the TBV must be directed at me as I think I'm the only one there after Rohan's repetitive bannings. So I'm a moron, huh?

Well, I can honestly say that nobody on that site has:

-Stalked me
-Turned on me because I don't want to go out with them
-Broken into my house
-Harassed me with sms and emails
-Had their mates ring me at all hours calling me disgusting names
-Harassed my friends and work mates with emails
-Believed absolute crap about me from less than reliable or stable sources
-Turned up at places they know I'll be
-Spread rumours and out right lies about me
-Threatened the safety of me AND my 6 year old daughter
-Posted personal information and details about me on a public BB

Hmmm.....wish I could say the same about some of the people here.

I initially started posting on TBV because my boyfriend is a Carlton supporter and he's there. I also don't mind Deej and I think he generally runs the site pretty fairly and it's mostly a good place for discussion. So pardon me if I don't hate people purely for the fact they support a football team other than my own. (BTW, my nanna barracks for Carlton too, do you suggest I never speak to her again???)There are some complete ignorant dickheads on that site, but in my experience you get that everywhere, no matter the team. I'm not going to judge their whole supporter base on a few idiots. I hate the Carlton football club, not the people.

So, call me a "traitor" or accuse me of not being a "true Collingwood supporter". I hate Carlton with a passion, a fact I offer freely on TBV whenever I get a chance, but sorry, I just can't bring myself to hate people just because of who they support. To be honest, I love my nanna too much.....

ps. you know, I totally agree with Joffa's comments on gutless people who sit behind their computers sniping at others. But you know what? At the end of the day, it hurts a lot more when that sniping comes from people you DO know and is supported by others you once considered friends.

Mandy, I've posted on TBV, but not for months. I also post regularly on the HawksHeadquarters for the same reason as you, my partners a hawks girl.
I would never call anyone anti-collingwood just because they can get a reasoned argument out of fellow aussie rules people.

How did a thread about a rival site turn into a lecture about ethics, morals and integrity? I've always thought cheating was a sign of integrity JLC (note to all my precious friends, I'm taking about Carlton's cheating of the salary cap )

All I suggested is that if you want a laugh you should read some of the postings on TBV.

Although I think it's pretty pathetic that opposition fans spend more time discussing a supporter of a football club more than their team.
