Absolutely, beating them is good at any time. Of course we shouldn't get carried away, obviously carlton shouldn't figure too much in the coming season. But then again why should we let that spoil our fun! Hopefully the next few years should see us even up the win/loss record.

I'm pretty glad I don't have to be at work till 1.30pm today made having a couple of lite ales pretty easy.They were also more enjoyable as I was suppose to be at work till8.00pm last nite.not too bad getting double time to drink beer and watch the Pies kick the Filth's arse!!!!

Unreal!! I had a great time. I loved the way the boys played, was so pleased. Definatly worth the 4 hour round trip, as always. LOL, so glad I was able to go. Would love to go this week, but not sure if I can. Was soooooo good to beat them again....

Gotta love the fact that the Pies really only pulled their finger out in the last quarter.

Carlton lack a lot of class so I'm not getting TOO excited (but it's always good to beat the filth).

Would have liked to see more of Lokan on the ground, as he was the only debutant to get a run.

Overall, not a bad effort for first hit out, still some good players to return (namely: Paul Licuria, Glenn Freeborn) and Rocca spent most of the game on the bench.
