If I understand your question, I don't see a problem with asking about whether a topic can be debated or not. I don't know of any topic that was closed or moved or deleted?

Didn't someone else mention on here that the topic on Nick davis was closed?

Ok yes that topic was closed. I guess the topic needed to remain as the explanation as to why it was closed needed to be read.
