Craig, I can't somehow stop thinking that you regret resigning as a moderator. You gave us basically no explaination when you did, but you 'bash' us with every opportunity that seem you seem to get.
Why not apply to be a moderator once again if it bothers you that much.

As for policing the police, you may think you are doing a good job at that, but frankly, the only thing that your upsetting is your credability.

Mike, the attempt at getting more transparacy was never aimed at you.
BJ, yes, I do regret that decision. It was done to enable me to get rid of a certain poster without causing pain to the team or Mike.
As for re-applying, well your line about my credability sums up the response I would expect to be given.

It was me who introduced the 'secret' team names.

It was me who decided that we wouldn't use ranks on this board.

It was me who removed the bolding from the moderators names on the 'Who is Online' list.

It was me who didn't restick the topic after I moved everything across from the old software.

Just who was it aimed at? Cobood? London Dave? Carol?

Come on, one of those very slack power hungry people whom you are continually 'policing' in your quest to make this footy board a squeaky clean transparent democracy must be secretly on a power trip. We're all just so lucky that you look after our interests with such diligence.

Craig - every one of the moderators is willing to follow Mike's lead. He remains in 'ownership' of the site, but in order to keep it going, has delegated many tasks to us.

Bear in mind that we are really only 6 weeks into the job and still learning.

I tell you what though - keep this up and Mike may well decide that his original decision to close Nick's was justified.

And do you know who's fault that will be? It will be yours and many of us won't let you forget it.

At the time of the original decision to close this board I offered help, and I believe i was instrumental at the time in changing mikes mind. But best ask him if that is true or not.

There is nothing contradictory in what I've said.

If you actually read what I've previously posted you'll learn that I introduced the team names to enable an easier transfer of the administration of the board, the decision about displaying ranks was made in 1999, the removal of the bolding and the fact that this topic is not sticky both result from the transfer to the new software and the consequent ongoing cleanup resulting from the transfer..

If your life centres around keeping a footy fan site honest then I can only repeat Magpiemad's advice, get a life.

Yes you were very supportive at that time, but so were many many others and it was the overwhelming response from many people that made me rethink and take a new tack - it's very wrong and misleading of you to try and take the credit for that yourself.

I have been very patient with you and have put up with your abusive innuendo for long enough. I once got to this point with you before and told to just piss off. Your reaction to that was so extreme that I retracted and apologised. I now regret both the retraction and the apology. I am taking no further part in this conversation.

anyway the mods arent HIDDEN like u think they are craig. wen ur on the main page u see the forums and it says WHICH bb mod is on and u can CLICK ON IT and the avatar shows which users are in which group.
