| Gold Coast = Great lifestyle??? Have you lived there. If you want an un cultured, non AFL, tourist strip with shit restaurants and neon lights, then yes, it may be wht you would call a great lifestyle.

Spot on about the management
Almost about Dale's form. He's been un-Dale like this year. Have been a bit disappointed with his inconsistency. I thought he was on the verge of becoming one of the AFL's Top 10 players, but he's fallen back a bit from such a great 2 years.

The point is that if Thomas makes his decision to go...or refuses to announce his decision...it makes no difference to our 2011 campaign.
Too many people inside Geelong's camp criticised Gary for his decision. Ultimately, anyone in his position would've left.
Focus on 2011. If Daisy decides to leave, we'll deal with it in the off-season. The best we can do is put the best possible offer on the table for Dale, make the strongest case possible and hope his loyalty shines through.
I doubt Thomas will drop off in terms of his form due to this. He has another premiership to win. |

yeah true this year, hes a bit down, who isnt, but this was last year about his contract, and he was just fine!!

I think from time to time, great players can have a poor year where there form just isn't up to scratch and they aren't on fire as they were in the previous years.
I may be wrong, but I think Dale's form may have something to partly do with Mick's departure and Bucks being the coach now. I know that Mick and Daisy had a very strong player-coach relationship. Maybe it's affecting him somewhat.
We also have to remember that whenever Daisy has an injury or is suspended for a match, his first match back is always poor. I've noticed this trend on several occasions. For example, the Geelong match in Round 8 was one of his poorer matches of the year and his match against Hawthorn in the Prelim last year was also very average after he had been suspended for rough conduct against Garrick Ibboston from Fremantle.
