Fraser and Richards have bulked up a little, as has Taz in the upper body (not that he needed it). McGough is working his arse off and has been super impressive as has Woey who from what I understand has been training as a bit of a defender with Bucks on at least one occasion. Shaw like always trains well but I wont put any faith in him till I see results. Apparently C.Cloke and Nixon are going fairly well but I havent heard much on Shakles. Apparently at this stage Lokan is the one to watch.

Tessa, I've been reading this site for a year and I never read the training section.
Thanks for mentioning it.

Bux:
I have heard from several track watchers that young King, whilst physically not quite ready, is really impressing at training as is young Roe (although again he isn't quite fit enough or physically ready to have an impact this year).
Also heard:
That MCG has shed his puppy fat and looks awesome,
That Lonie has put on a lot more muscle across the shoulders
That Cole has really build up his arms
That Cam Cloke and Mullins have spent a lot of time in the infirmary.
Nixon and Lokan seem to be doing well, with Lokan physically mature and the most likely of all the draft picks to make an early impact, probably as a dashing half back flank type.
Also, Woey and Williams are both very impressive from all reports, (Woey in particular, as could be expected from a brownlow medalist and true professional).
We were on recon in a steaming Mekong delta, a momentary lapse of concentration allowed Charlie to get the drop on us. I spent the next three years in a POW camp, forced to subsist on a thin stew of four kinds of rice. I came close to madness trying to find it here in the States, but they just cant get the spices right... |
