I AM BACK IN MAGPIE LAND JUST BACK FROM TASMAGPIE

[MAGPIE MAGIC]

HI! FOLKS OF THE MIGHTY MAGPIE NEST.
Long time no post I know but I have spent 2 awarsome weeks in TASMANIA or TASMAGPIE.
I love TASSIE or Tasmagpie I spent the first week just taking it easy in Devonport (which i needed to after the horror ride(but i loved it) from melbourne to devonport)it was on the spirt of tassie and the swells on bass strait were about 1 km deep.
Launceston was great home of the mighty BOAGS brewery which i drunk most of my time at in Launceston at the BOAGS arms pub.
Drove on ward to Hobart via Cradel Mountain Resort which i stayed overnight and did some treking for 5 hours around Lake St.Clare where I parked my hire car.
On the drive to Hobart in thick South western tassie rainforest and rugged terraine i came across the MIGHTY COLLINGWOOD RIVER right in the Heart of tassies south western hertiage wilderness the river was great so a had a drink from COLLINGWOOD river.
Hobart was great all i did for 3/4 days was venturing around Salamancar market and a few of the pubs on victoria/consition dock. And i ventured up to mt.wellington.
Then it was time to leave the mighty TASMAGPIE for the MIGHTY MAGPIE LAND OF Victoria. I flew from Hobart to Melbourne on another turbalant trip.
ANY WAY THAT WAS MY VACTION AND NOW IAM IN THE THICK OF MAGPIE LAND AND IAM GEARING UP FOR ANOTHER MAGPIE BOOMING YEAR.
CATCH YOU ALL AT THE DOME FOR THE WIZARD CUP.
GGGOOO MMMAAAGGGPPPIIIEEESSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hobart was next

UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED

TIMagpie77 - I too have recently returned from a trip to Tassie and also crossed the Collingwood river and got the obligatory photo with the sign.

Did you get to Queenstown ? In a small street a couple of blocks up from the Empire hotel there's a house painted black and white.

From a closer look you can see it's a devouted Collingwood household - black & white fence, black & white chimney, blow-up magpie on the porch, Collingwood flag flying on the roof, black & white windmill in the back etc. etc.

Collingwood is alive and well in Queenie - and the bloke at the Shell service station is a Pies man too !
