Boycott the Herald Sun

I am sick to death of this paper, and now will refuse to buy it again. Let's face it, besides the form guide and some sports it is full of drivel anyway.

Look to page 4 of the Money section, in today's edition and you will understand the reason for my latest outburst.

Rule 1. Barrack for Collingwood
Rule 2. See rule 1.
Rule 3. There is no rule 3.

for those of us,who didn;t get the paper what's in the money section? something to do with the pies??????.

I bought the paper last season only to get the collingwood bits to make a decent scrapebook*i still haven;t finished it all yet*s*.

They are saying that you should stick with losers instead of switching to winners in terms of the share market. A round about way of saying to be loyal

However i fail to see how losing by under 2 goals in a grand final gives them the right to label Collingwood as losers.

I call for Mr Edward McGuire to ask them to retract the statement they have made as it is very insulting or to go on strike!!

Lets face facts Collingwood sells papers. So maybe if Collingwood supporters boycott the paper they wont be so cocky!!!

Could be more of an implication, than a statement.

I really did not want to broadcast the implication. I found it offensive and I can see that it could be injurious to both Mick M and Paul Licuria.

Anyway, for those without access to today's Hun, here is what I found so appalling...

above the Headline "Stick with losers" they have a picture of Paul L. and Mick M. immediately after the grand final.

We may have lost, but we are not losers.

But if I boycott the Herald Comic what will I use to clean-up my dog's excrement? (And her vomit, when she gets sick?).

There are households out there with cats and dogs and birds and elephants...okay, wait a minute, maybe not elephants, but all sorts of different pets, and I imagine the Herald Comic is intergral to the cleaning up of the...ah...to the...er...to the doody of these pets.

The beauty is the absorption of the Herald Comic - it's as if the paper knows what it was made to do. How else can you explain its continual promotion of articles written by Mike Sheahan and Mark Robinson?

Really, Greg J, think about the consequences of your demands!

P.S. The paper was no longer worth reading after it stopped printing Monty (nee Robotman).

Pleased to say I boycotted the Hun a long time ago. I haven't bought it for many months and I've got no intention of wasting my money on it again.

For those concerned about how to clean up their pet elephant's excrement, I suggest you find a discarded copy of the previous day's Hun. It does the job just as well ... and you don't have to contribute to their profits.

I have to say, that I have never been a fan of the Herald Sun....Mike Sheehan really gives me the shits and healy is a complete tool and Gary Lyon just jumps from one bandwagon to the next....the picture does not surprise me at all....in fact I'm surprised it was not on the front page.....

The Age is not much better with Brereton going on about himself and Hawthorn...
The problem we all face is that 2003 is going to be our Year and we need to keep all the articles, pictures and stats from both papers to keep as a reminder of the year that was.....

I dont buy the herald sun much. Only when i know collingwood pictures are in there or there photos. (i make mum buy it anyways)!

Except for one occasion when i happened to see collingwood team photo inside. so i bought it! and who was on the 2nd page, yes jarrod molloy! and who was on the 4th page! kylie minogue!

The best paper of my life! hahaha
