A Chinese Proverb

Two crickets sit on musty log in swamp, looking into dark pond. First cricket has food, a grain of wheat. Second cricket has none. First cricket offers to share food, second cricket thinks then accepts. Crickets eat grain together. Second cricket only has bank statement, offers this to first cricket. First cricket frowns and refuses. Second cricket shrugs, then eats bank statement. First cricket waits. Short time passes, and second cricket very sick. Vomits. Terrible pains in stomach. First cricket smiles and raises one eyebrow. 'Conflict of interest', he think.
