i was at the annual general meeting in december and m.m. made the point that the maggies only won 13 games last year . all the players were there . m.m. was not getting carried away with 2002 results and he made a real effort to wipe the slate clean so a fresh start would be in 2003 with no great illusions of grandeur. well on the c.f.c. home site today i think he is taking this even further. the players will not be starting without realising the reality facing them -----new year all teams are equal, then the war starts.rgds to alf and stik 35 who i had the pleasure of meeting at the a.g.m. and as well the man in gold[he evan made me buy a c.d].

Yeah, MM ia master at bringing football teams back to earth and he is right, last year counts for nothing, it is history. It is this year that counts, all teams start the year equal. 13 wins will not be good enough in 03 we need at least 15. MM is a great coach and he knows exactly what is required.

Provided we can finally beat Geelong...I think 16 wins is very likely...I can see the Pies having a long winning streak next year....injuries aside top 3 is coming our way...

Bring em on

Oh, yes ... I forgot all about Geelong. Hope we don't have to play them in the Grand Final. Unlikely, I guess. Because they're generally not worth a pinch of shit. But they grow another leg when they play us, for some reason. Obviously we INSPIRE them.

Sem,

Hello ... and a Happy New Premiership ...

... er, sorry ... I mean Happy New Year ...

Now, this came up on another topic, but maybe you can help us out here. Which end was Anthony Rocca kicking to when he kicked that disallowed goal in the Grand Final. I'm sure Stik35 would like to know

The new year is gonna rock! we are gonna win the grand final by 77 points. With Port finishing 16th, essendon 15th and brissy 14th. We will play Melbourne in the g.f! And Jarrod will have an excellent year and get norm smith medal when we win. Then we'll all go to the after party and he'll show me his award and say he done it for his 'number 1 fan!
Hahahah thats my dream!

Love always, Alyssa xoxo

Alf,
I am sure you know already but .... He was just forward of the wing in front of The Southern Stand just in front of the Brisbane players race (and incidently just in front of me). He was kicking to the city end (Ponsford Stand) he was about 55 m out when he actually kicked the ball.

The loss to Geelong was a purposely orchestrated result to allow us to finish 4th. Trust Me.

Twice in one thread Murray.
Come on, tell all of us why you think that you can be so disrespectful to the site owner and the hard working mods?
C'mon, we are sick of that disclaimer and really would like an explanation.

Yes Murray, get over it already. I'm moderating this week and am very tempted to edit every one of your posts to remove the disclaimer. I however do not have the time or energy to chase you all over the board so am relying on you to straighten up your act. You have made your point, you do not like your posts being edited or deleted, who does? Give us a break for goodness sake.

Thanks for that, Murray.

Now all we have to do is convince stik35. Where are you, Julie? ...

Lisey,

Sorry to disappoint you, but after our 77 point win, Jarrod Molloy, having kicked 7 goals and winning the Norm Smith medal by 7 votes, will get up at the after match celebrations and make a 7 minute speech, which will culminate in him personally thanking you ... his number 7 fan.

Hi Alf,
Don't worry I've already PM'd Sem and admitted my error.
I must have been having an out of body experience or something?
