Pre Season games

What's this with the new scoring in Pre Season games?
Like they have 3 points for a rushed behind.
And 9 points for a goal outside of 50.
How will the goal umpires show 3 or 9 points??
Me and my dad came up with so many crazy ways of doing a 3 pointer like showing a goal with you leg sticking out and stuff, but its just weird! lolz!

What do you guys think of this new scoring?
If they bring it into the real footy season ill be really mad!

I think the ideas are good to try in the pre season, just to make it a bit different. I hope none of the changes ever come in for the home & away season.

Yeah, Lis, you're nearly right about the 3 pointer. The goal umpy puts two hands in the air (like a six in cricket) but must stand on one leg with the other stuck out at a 45deg. angle. S/he then must get out three flags and wave them, making sure there are two flags in the right or left hand, depending which goalpost the ball was rushed closer to.

The 9 pointer, however, is far more complicated and it's past my lunchtime so I'll leave that up to Craig or JLC to explain.
