Gday,

I started high school this year and made a new friend name John Dounis. Now we are both mad Collingwood supporters and one day we were talking about how mad it would be to play for the pies. Then ive said a lot of hard work though. Then he said that his dads named John Dounis and that he was going to be drafted through the father son rule. But the next day he bought 2 best adn fairest trophys they were both from the 70s i forget what years exactly but they said john dounis and the had the collingwood logo and vfl logo on them. I was pretty much convinced but i wont be until i can seriously find out. he might of got the trophy made for laughs. And this year i havent gone to chris's house yet to talk to his dad. So if anyone know a player called john dounis who played at least 100 games, played full forward and won 2 best and fairests please reply to the topic or reply with any comments.

Cheers

He's having you on. No-one by the name of John Dounis ever played for the Pies. Not in the seniors anyway.

Lou Richards: Welcome back to the third quarter here at the home of football, VFL Park, where there is a real Ding-Dong battle going on between these giant teams of the 70's.

Peter Landy: Yes Lou, it's been an absolute corker between the maggies and those magnificent Hawks...

Lou: And the ball is bounced in the centre of the ground by umpire Dellar, the ball is knocked down by Thompson, picked up wearmouth who kicks it to Kink. The Incredible Hulk is about 90 meters out, he'd have to kick it a country mile to make the distance by crikey!

Peter: Kink gets on to an absolute ball-burster, it's heading for the goal square......DOUNIS.... Takes a screamer.

Lou: The two time copeland trophy winner has taken a ripper.

Peter: Yes, what a way to celebrate your 100th game!

Nah, Don't remember that

No one by that name has ever played VFL or AFL seniors, going by the recent updated bible..
