Very gracious of you Rach.

You're right Abi, it is a great site, but the credit is not for me to take; this site, and in particular this Bulletin Board, is just the sum of its members. The reason that it's a great site is that the group is a great group.

We agree, we disagree, we love each other and we hate each other, people come and go and come back again - some have been doing it for years. Every person here is a part of that group and helps make up the personality of the site. You're one of those people... so is Rach.

You do need a thick skin if you're going to be even slightly controversial and you should expect to have to defend any criticism of any of the other users whether it be justified or not.

The site changes from year to year. People coming back from even one year ago would find it completely different, but there's one thing that never changes, the reason we're here at all - we're all here for the Collingwood Football Club. Sometimes we have trouble remembering that.

I have read the recent posts and am pretty disgusted about wat i have read............Rach is a great person and so is Eddie!! I for one am sick of these lil post wars i wish that ppl would actually think about wat they write! If u are going to "attack" someone on here(like Brooke said-rach has a lot of friends) then u have to be prepared to cop a bit from the members. Seriously i have to say that its interesting reading ppls views of things coz lets face it most of us have had a few different views about certain things this year, but when actual people from the board r pulled into comments then its just not on!! No one on here has the rite to feel better than everyone else and can bag and critersize n e one they please! We all know there r lines that should not be crossed and i just hope that from now on ppl should just stick to the limits......and Abi was rite Mike u have a great site and coz everyone so far has worked together im sure that his will still be here in 10years to come!!

I agree with the sentiments expressed by Magpiemad, Rowdy, Pattie, and Anthony on this page and in line with Cam's suggestion, when a thread goes right off the original topic, couldn't those posts be removed and put under another topic name ?

That way, those of us just wishing to read or post to the original topic - in this case, a simple but nonetheless inspirational message from our President - "Hello to all. I haven't posted for a while but always read with interest the thoughts of my fellow magpie supporters" - could do so without having to plough through the other stuff.
