Very close: Shaw, Sidebottom (work in close was phenomenal for such a young player), Toovey, Pendlebury, N.Brown
Special mention to the match savers: Maxwell, Cloke, Leon, Johnson and Thomas. Some crucial work from these blokes at the death. Well done boys. _________________ Well done boys! |

3. Maxwell - that save in the dying minutes almost had me on my feet clapping in the middle of a crowded room.
2. Shaw - Did all the right things. Gave his all. Can hold his head high.
1. Thomas - Apart from that miss on goal, showed why people think he's the most improved player in the AFL _________________ A Pie for Life. |

Apologies to Maxy, either he or Sidey could have got the "1" vote, but the kid played such a great game given his age and experience. He's a beauty. |

Thought Heater has played one of his best games in the the 2nd half of the season.
Interesting that both Daisy and Sidey were BOG in their GFs before they were drafted. They just know how to perform on the biggest stage.
Leon on the other hand....... _________________ Side By Side. Back To Back. COLLINGWOOD - 2010 PREMIERS and Beyond |
