Carlton legend Stephen Silvagni today met with new Blues coach Denis Pagan, fuelling speculation the Carlton director is planning a comeback to help the club on-field during the worst crisis in its history.

Rumours have emerged that Silvagni and recently-retired former teammate Craig Bradley will nominate for the pre-season draft and play for the Blues on minimum contracts.

What's next, a return of Serge under the "Son-Father rule"? Maybe throw Jezza in the mix, or perhaps big John Nicholls. I'm sure the pies could trade off Lou Richards for a couple of hundred grand..... oops, they have no money...doh!

Strange that Silvagni would speak to Pagan at all. Not that a director of the club shouldn't speak to the coach, or is it just Collo getting SOS to do his dirty work. Very strange. The Filth just doesn't get it do they, re-building means YOUNG players. Oh yeah, they got Mick Martyn.
