I reckon Willianstown should play this game just to even it up ??
Or maybe the two captains can line up all the players and pick one player each until no one is left. Like you used to do at school when playing cricket or basketball etc etc

My guess is that Fevola would get picked last...or maybe one team will be happy to play with one player less

When we win we play either Hawthorn or St.kilda.....so its likely we might get to the semi's without having to field any senior players!!!

wouldnt be surprised(or care) if we lose. pre - season results are meaningless(see our record for pre season 2002). let every kid yet to crack a senior game play, all recruits from the draft, woewodin and williams play and the rest in unfamiliar positions. let rowdy coach and have scotty cummings as runner(around 3 msgs per game to be delivered) putting off the filth with a bit of humour. ive never been less interested in footy than i am when the pre season comp is on. st kilda and dockers fans get excited that they've beaten a geelong under 18's side though, so perhaps it has its entertainment value.

Very true Ramjet...but it is a great opportunity to get our rants and chants ready for the round one clash....we will need to have our drinking hats well and truly on, and be prepared for our destiny to be fulfilled!

excuse my ignorance, but in the pre-season are we allow to play Jason Cloke, Paul Licuria and Scott Burns seeing as they have to see out their suspensions in the home and away season???

Cloke_34....they can all play....they have only been suspended for Home and away matches....

But as we all know the AFL changes the rules to suit

I think you will find Licca and Burns will be rested regardless....its a long season...no need to peak too early!
