Hello, I don't know about you but the wait for the prelim is killing me. And to top it off no one is giving us a chance in hell even though we beat Geelong and Saints this season. "but finals are different" all the bagging morns keep saying. They think we will play Geelong and freo have no chance. That maybe true but I know we can beat Geelong again. But why am i surprised?
We started the season without any champion players. Now all of a sudden we have all Australians.
They said we wouldn't make the 8 or top 4. We finished TOP OF THE LADDER

I hope we shut them all up. This is possibility the BEST Collingwood side I have EVER seen in my 15+ years of going to all home games. We have a hell of load of more skills this year than we did in 2002-03. In those 2 years we have belief. But now we have the skill also.

GO THE MIGHTY MAGPIES!

The bookies seem to think we have a chance. Shocked

Bring it on. Forget Freo. I want us to knock out Geelong in their third set.

Then give us St Kilda. We'll take the best they can throw at us and destroy them.

GO PIES!!!!

The wait is tough. But it's worth it. At the end of this season, all AFL teams could have a flag to their name. How exciting would that be? Go Freo! We have our first female Prime Minister, now we need a first premiership for Fremantle. No more being partisan, think about what's best for the game, and that is without a doubt a Freo flag.

LOL.

Well at least the omen is that the last time we won a flag Labor was in power. Very Happy (And that's the last smile The Red Dragon gets from me).

Yeah it's weird feeling. The worst thing about the week off is that the Pies can't annihilate yet another team this weekend. Laughing

I'm actually loving the break, mainly because of what we usually do each time we have a break.

Every season, in the middle of the year, we "limp" into the split round, only to come out the other side absolutely on fire, and we then go and smash Sydney and anyone else who stands in our way.

Now, for the first time since 03, we have the week off in the finals, and I expect the pies to come out breathing fire next week, in fact I see them as nigh on unbeatable against the Pussies.

I can't wait, but I'm also enjoying watching the other sides supporters "squirm" fully knowing we are on our way to immortality. Very Happy

Yeah it has been a very long week and next week promises to be even longer, lets just hope Freo can at least put up a bit of a fight to take some sting out of the cats, oh and a bit of rain wouldn't go astray either

I was on the saintsational forum (sticky beaking) and they are already ahead of themselfs talking up a GF. A few on there rate us but most think if we do get through the "pressure"will kill our young boys and GF hopes.
I would of thought palying for the biggest club in the league, where a home and away match can get 80+ fans, constant media scrutiny, and a coach who expects a first year to preform like the rest would of been pressure enough.

Ha yeah I did the same thing yesterday. They are getting well ahead of themselves, you may as well start inscribing the premiership cup now with St Kilda they way they think... The excuses why we beat them last time, 8-10 blokes had the flu, Riewoldt under done (true), luck was on our side. Spare me.

I have no doubt that we can & will beat the remaining teams that get in our way.

Go Pies!

Loving the week off, just hope the Dockers run the cats ragged, give em a hell of a game, and an injury or two would be good also. Then its our turn for payback for last years Prelim. The Lid is still firmly on, but it might move a tiny bit if we beat the pussies, and onto the GF !
