I think we are already back.

I saw Woey going for a run with Collingwood players on the news so I guess we are back.

under the new rules players must have a minumum of 8 weeks between their final game and pre season. pretty good feeling when you see carlton and hawthorn etc slogging it out on the track a month before us because of the difference in success in '02. so, that makes it nov 28/29 by my reckoning but heard it'll start dec 1. most guys are back from holidays though and have already started training in some capacity - good to see some of the boys dragging woey out for a run to get to know him.

If that is correct, then why did I see Collingwood going for a run on the news last week with Woey?

Actually the players are required to do a fitness type run durning the off season so the club know that the players are keeping in shape. That's what woewodin was doing on the news.

The players traditionally front one month after the break, halfway through their off-season to have skinfold tests and a run which is measured against the runs they perform. Some of the youngsters who didn't play in the granny will be starting earlier. Walker et al are already back and ready to go.

err... maths is definately not my strong point but doesnt 8 weeks from the GF make it end of november? only mid Nov at the moment dan...unless i mysteriously lost 2-3 weeks of my life in the post-GF drinking fest and have missed my uni exams scheduled for next week. highly likely now i think about it.
