Well the Melbourne Cup only has 24 horses that run. So therefore you have to eliminate 16 horses including Northerly.
Rain Gauge has a good chance of winning. Keep your eyes for County Tyrone who is unheralded but proven at the distance.
I dont think the internationals will all finish in the top 6.
I will go against the grain of thought and stick with the locals.

The question i have to ask is has anyone actually seen Pugin run ?? I think not at this stage everyone is basing it on one great run to Vinnie Roe. I too am guilty of that myself however before i will be backing it i will be sure to get a copy of its race or surely sky channel will show it prior to melb cup.

Well based on what i have seen im going for Distinctly Secret. Has had the best traditional lead up to Melb Cup. Has an inform jockey and drops 6kg on its run in the McKinnon Stakes.

Hey m8, what does it cost to box 8 numbers ? A lot. I guess you took a flexi.
I certainly don't live my life by it but numeralogically the number for tomorrow is 11 so a box of 2, 11 and 20 is the way to go for those who do. Lol.
Naturally I had a bit each way on #8. If it wins I'll be happy to accept the reduced divi resulting from Magpie bets !!
