For some of us older time Magpies this was the best player to have ever played for Collingwood. White boots and able to leap and mark like no other. It was a pleasure to sit and chat with Phil Carman at last night's Bendigo Collingwood Cup Night.

Amen to that Joffa. No one better and the filthy vermin at the AFL rubbed him out for2 weeks ,just in case of a draw,in 1977 for bitch slapping that vile piece of crap tuck, who will forever be MY most hated squealer. Twisted Evil

Very Happy I thought Greening was better! But one of the best 5 Collingwood players I have ever watched. Remember the anticipation in the Crowd when Phil was anywhere near the ball!! Imagine if Daics, Phil and Greening were all playing in the 1979-1981 Grand finals!!

Phil was way ahead of his time

I will never forget the fond memories of this champ and some of the most brilliant football I had seen.

Had a great yarn to Phil Carman last night, looks fit enough to still play!! He has a lot of respect for MM and the current Collingwood team and thinks that we can go all the way.

Tony Shaw was fairly confident as well.

As usual Joffa was bloody sensational! What fantastic support this guy is for Collingwood fans everywhere. He was inspirational!
