The deals completed and confirmed by Collingwood were as follows:

Woewodin for our Pick 16
Davis to Sydney for their pick 23
Adkins to West Coast for Andrew Williams, straight swap.

That is all

Would've licked a better pick than 23 for Nick Davis but considering most of Sydneys players lack talent it was better to take a draft pick.

I think the other deals are great ones.

Good luck to Chipper at West Coast

PeterWH, the trades I listed above were confirmed by an official from the Collingwood Football Club to whom I spoke to this afternoon, well after the 2pm deadline. That is all of them.

Nicky! I made up the Nicky song on Grand Final day! His last game! Why couldn't I make it up like round 1 last year or something!
Why did they get rid of Chippa! I could think of people that are not as good as him!

pretty interesting. i wasnt sure anyone would want ronnie burns but doesnt sound like adelaide gave up much for him. dons lost heffernan, blumfield and caracella - expect jimmy hird to now earn a million a year with all that salary cap space. the did well to get mcphee for #60 though.
if chick is worth #10, davis is definately worth more than #23. still...;
IN: Woewodin, Williams
OUT: Adkins, Davis

i think we'll win in the end. good luck chipper. (so can we PLEASE delist rhyce shaw now???!!!)

Christmas has defiantly come early after all for us. I'm so excited at the moment that I'm not even thinking about what I'm saying! I'm also thinking Andrew Williams would be a good pickup. I remember watching an old under 18's match where Williams was staring, yet instead we drafted Craig Jacotine, from that particular team. To get Woey is unbelievable, especially if it's supposed to be a shallow draft as the word around town is drilling into us. Of course anyone close to this level shouldn't be given such a tag. We have a brownlow medallist at pie land finally (well there was one for a while in Barry MitcHELL*, but we know how that turned out). Not that the brownlow means much, but I won't be complaining having Woey. Listen to me, I'm already calling him by his special nickname. 4 the Premierships a Cakewalk 4 us. Hang on help me out people, what are the official Collingwood words, I think it would be a good idea to synchronise. According to the Alyssa's Collingwood Club! site, which I accidentally stumbled up on, that line is "Oh, the premierships a Cakewalk". what's that first word?

I'm so excited I almost forgot to post this message! It was just sitting here, like those couple of times Presti was left on the bench last year for entire matches.

*please note the hightlight of the HELL part of Mitchell, that's appropriate. I think there's something in that for all of us don't you?

you're giving too much credit to mitcHELL. he never won a brownlow

sydney swans brownlow medallists - H.Matthews (1940*), R.Clegg (1949*), FW.Goldsmith (1955), R.Skilton (1959*, 1963, 1968), P.Bedford (1970), G.Teasdale (1977), B.Round (1981*), G.Williams (1986*), G.Healy (1988), P.Kelly (1995). * = Tied

woey is of course different. now we have a brownlow medallist and a norm smith medallist in our midfield

I heard a rumour from a very very good sorce (My Gran's budgie)
that Ryce Shaw got caught up in ND's apron strings and cannot free himself.

Oh well, we can dream.

Glad to see that the Mark Alvey (Western Bulldogs) to Essendon for pick 30 (reported in herald sun)trade didn't get through on time. That would have meant he would have joined Dean Solomon at Essendon. These two and Tazz have strong bonds from their playing days in Bendigo together. This could have spent danger at Collingwood.

Thanks for correcting me junkboy75, I wonder why I thought Barry actually did something, maybe I just assume Sydney/South Melb is the home of Brownlows, where they value that honor above premierships. So it's all decided then? To give Woey number 2, I think that would be suitable, showing we value him even more than the high number 22 Melbourne provided.
