I want to write this because i posted it on the bored board and you guys wont see it anyways. Don't yell at me! lolz! I hate getting yelled at. And don't criticise my poem coz this is what i think anyways!

This poem is for Nicky Davis.

"This poem is for a boy,
Who some of us love so,
He will always be in my heart,
I can never let him go,

He missed his family,
So he chose to move away,
Up to Sydney,
Where he will now play,

A few years back,
He joined our great team,
He hoped that we would,
Fulfill his dream,

His body was here,
But his heart was not,
But no matter where he is,
He will not be forgot,

The legendary number 19 jumper,
No longer belongs to Nick,
Some other player will wear it,
Who will the coach pick?,

Will it be Williams,
Or the boy from Melbourne named Shane,
I don't care who it is,
Coz it will never be the same,

All these people now,
Have a hatred against Nick,
All these collingwood supporters,
Are just making me sick,

I still love you Nicky,
And that will never pass,
Even though my heart,
Has been shattered like a broken glass,

I can remember meeting you,
You were so nice, funny and kind,
With the cutest laugh,
And the sweetest mind,

You made me feel good,
Because you were so happy and fun,
That was a great day for me,
If only we had won,

But the pleasure of meeting you,
Before you decided to move away,
Was one of the best things ever,
It made my whole day,

Wherever your football career takes you,
I'll always remember that game,
Against the bulldogs in 2001,
Where i continuouslly called out your name,

We were losing,
And you got a spark,
It recharged all the players,
And the dogs lost there bark,

We won that game because of you,
You kicked the goals to help us,
It was all you Nicky Davis,
I say that without a fuss,

You were my fave,
Until my special boy came,
I know so many people,
That love you the same,

Chicks and dudes, little girls and boys,
With the number 19's on their back,
They all loved and supported you,
And told mean people to cut you some slack,

We will always remember you,
The things you did that were bad and good,
I love you Nicky Davis,
I hope you enjoyed playing for Collingwood."

This is how I feel. I love Nicky Davis. He is a star. I love chippa as well but Nicky was my boy. He was my fave till Jarrod and I love him and wish him the best.

aly, i am so happy that u have wrote that coz thats everything that i feel 2! i have loved him ever since he came...and its not easy 2 let go of! He was a lovely person and will never be forgotten!Nick,u inspired me and i loved u dearly and i always will love u! best of luck at sydney i hope you play some great footy!
i would never want u 2 play at a team where u'r heart wasnt, and thats why i am happy you have gone now b4 i started 2 love u even more!

Family comes first people, learn it, and accept it.
Nick deserves our respect and no critisism.
How many of you would be lost without your mum and dad.
Sure Nick could have gone about everything in a different manner, but that does not mean we should boooo him from now on.

As was stated in the other thread so beautifully by Cam, family was not the main reason for him going to sydney. They are ND's words not mine.

I am not about to bag anyone here on this site - you are my Collingwood family! Alyssa, you go girl. It's hard to let go I know - that is why our feelings are so strong the other way, we cared for ND too but we feel that he has not cared back through his actions over the last 6 months.

I am not about to ask you to hate him. You feel whatever you need to in order to handle he's no longer with our family. It was a great poem, don't stop writing - you have a talent there.

My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

The fact he carried on with his constant lies is what has caused the majority of the people here in this forum to be very very angry.

Dont say that you want to love playing for Collingwood but want to go home to your family all throughout the whole year and then come out after being traded to say that "I always barracked for Sydney and always wanted to play for them"

It just goes to show the type of person he is. Good luck to him in Sydney. Aslong as he doesnt get a kick against us I will be happy. We (as a football club) are better off without such individuals and as MM said "we only want quality people that want to play for the Collingwood Football Club"

Lis, I'm crying, thats the best poem eva. Nick will always be a star in my eyes too and I will never forget all the good times he had with us. People can bag him all they want but Nick is a legend and moving to be with his family and were he grew up. I think he has done damn well to remain at the Pies this long. So thanks a lot Nick for all the happy times and i wish u every success at Sydney.

You write well Alyssa pity the object of your affection is a serial pathetic liar! Lucky for you Nicky boy they took personality disorder off the criteria for admission for unstable mental health admissions and very lucky for you you are having your little groin operated in a hospital where I am not in charge - I may promise you pain relief and then again change my mind! Thats like my 777th poem i have ever written that is that long! I have written so many others that are about footy or just demented things. Most of them are on the bored board. Writing my lil poems are the only way of getting my opinion across 'cause the words just all interlock as i type. I don't even think. They just come from my fingers onto the screen.
