In some ways this is good news as it'll help keep N.Brown primed in case he's required come September.

Nah, clubs do this all the time now.
You can make a late change before the day of the game without incurring any penalty as long as you notify the AFL and your opponent.
Gives Nathan a well earned chance, he has been very good at VFL level, either side of his injury.
As long as Presti is right for next week. |

Very happy with this. We need to wean N.Brown back into the mix and Presti will not be the difference against Carlton; winning this week is about attitude, focus and discipline.

bad luck for Presti but I'm excited about having our two young guns Brown and Reid playing together. A bit like Daisy/Pendles and Steele/Beams, our top 2 picks in 3 consecutive years all now playing together and they're all guns. I'll be ultra satisfied when they thump those pathetic, tanked up, priority picked, overrated hacks!
