Post subject: Who will win the wooden spoon in 2003? | |
|
I think Sydney will finish last in 2003 due to the fact that they only have one good player is left Paul Williams and i doubt he will have to great seasons in a row. All Sydneys half desent players retired last year, all bar Paul Willaims.
You could say the saints, but i think there team has alot to offer in 2003 and wont finish last and Carlton wont go back to back on wooden spoons, they just had a lot of injurie problems this year, although i think they will stay in the bottom 4

Saints. No Loewe no go. People will wise up to the little fraggle in the forward pocket as well. Dimma could end up here.
Hard at it. The Collingwood way. |

Difficult,
I would love to say Carlton, but with Pagon and less injury problems might avoid it.
St Kilda have a promising list, and once they get the right gel, even with Thomas as coach they should do better than 2002.
Kangaroos, well new coach, no Pagon, few of their senior players need to play well, but should just stay away from danger.
Sydney, new times for them after many retired players. Will win games in Sydney.
So, if I was to stick my neck out and make a prediction 5 months before the season commences, I'd say.........
RICHMOND.

Speaking personally I would like to see Hawthorn finish bottom but they will probably be in the top 8 next year.
It will most likely be the saints. Just as long as it aint the mighty mighty magpies i don't care.

if you can get better than 2-1 on the Blues, get on!!!
New coach but no cattle!!
Early draft picks are NOT going to acquire the players to lift them up off the bottom
Internal turmoil will de-stabilise the entire oganization.
No gurantee that injured players will come up.
Go Blues for back to back 2002-2003!!!!
Of our two spoons we won 6 games in 76 and 4 games in 99. they won 3 in 2002. We successfully got ourselves up both times and there is NO indication they will even go close.
Couldnt happen to a better lot of filth!!!

Blues and Saints the obvious ones, but I reckon Geelong could challenge, especially if King gets injured, because of what I've seen he provides them with pretty much all their drive from the middle.
The game we played them earlier this season, we were pretty much playing our worst game for the year, but as soon as he went off in the last ten minutes of the third quarter for a breather, we got right back in it.
