St Kilda will post a loss beteen 1.1 mil and 3 mil apparently. just read it on the AFL website.
the loss will depend if they write off the stands at morabin or not, so basically they had a trading loss of 1.1 million this year, and lost assets to the value of 1.9 million in terms of the old grandstands.
how many clubs will be left?!?

As far as I know there are only two clubs left from the original NRL (NSWRL) clubs left, Souths and Easts. The other foundation clubs either merged, or as that league is more akin to the VFA in the number clubs admitted and dismissed, folded along the way. What makes us think that we in the aussie rules domain are going to be immune to that kind of stuff?

obviously we aren't - Hello Fitroy!
but you'd think they'd take steps to at least make it easier for the clubs. the AFL need to do something about it, but they'll probably stuff it like usual. Or make Collingwood and Essendon give half thier money to North and the Bulldogs each year.
